Refund, delivery and cancellation policy

Refunds within 14 days

If the Reading is not for you, email nearmiss1193@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase. No explanation needed. We will refund what you paid, minus the payment-processing fees that our payment provider does not return to us. On a $1.99 Reading that is about $0.40, so you would get about $1.59 back. The exact amount is shown on the refund itself. Please include the email address you used at checkout and the approximate time of purchase.

• Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, through Stripe. Your bank usually shows the credit within 5 to 10 business days.
• We aim to process requests within two business days.
• After a refund, please stop using the Reading and delete any downloaded copy. We may close access to the online page.

A full refund, fees included, when it is our fault

If we got something wrong, you get everything back, including the fees. That covers:

• the Reading did not deliver, or you could not open it and we could not fix it;
• you were charged twice (we refund the duplicate in full);
• our calculation was wrong (you entered the right details and the chart does not match them).

If the birth time, date or place was entered incorrectly, no problem and no charge: tell us the right details and we will rebuild your Reading for free.

Delivery

The Reading is a digital product delivered immediately on the web after Stripe confirms your payment, and you can download it as an HTML file or print it to PDF. Nothing is shipped and there are no delivery fees. If the page does not load, use Recover a reading or email us. If we cannot deliver your Reading, we will refund you in full.

Cancellation

Every purchase is a single one-time payment. There is no subscription, free trial or automatic renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. Add-ons that are listed as "coming soon" cannot be bought and we have not charged for them.

Before a dispute

If something has gone wrong, please talk to us first. We are a small team and we would much rather sort it out with you directly: a refund from us is quicker and easier for everyone than a chargeback through your bank. Write to us and we will make it right.
